thirukkOshtiyUr nambi (gOshti pUrNar) is one of the prime sishyas of ALavandhAr and one of the dearest AchAryas of emperumAnAr. He was the one who gave the name "emperumAnAr" to srI rAmAnujar which lead to namperumAL declaring our sampradhAyam as emperumAnAr dharisanam.
